Eight Years Is Enough (Actually, Too Much.)

If bad policy proposals and proven foreign policy ineptitude are not enough to make you vote against Hillary Clinton, consider the direction our society and culture has taken the last eight years.

  • Black Americans appear to be much more dissatisfied than they were eight years ago, egged on by Progressives, including Chief Provocateurs Barack Obama and Eric Holder.
  • Through no fault of the Border Patrol, immigration enforcement has become a confused, ineffective mess.
  • Obama is willing to violate the Constitution in order to grant de facto amnesty to millions–thus encouraging even more illegal immigrants–but does virtually nothing to protect the Border.
  • Illegal immigration is also encouraged by the Progressives’ constant calls for general amnesty.
  • Citizenship is being devalued, as Illegals are allowed most of the same rights and benefits of citizens.
  • The vote, one of citizenship’s most important rights, is also under attack as the Federal Government goes to court to deny states the right to prevent voter fraud through voter ID requirements.
  • College campuses have become Theaters of the Absurd, with ‘safe spaces’ and ‘trigger warnings’ and intensive indoctrination of students about the evils of ‘white culture and privilege’.
  • The effort to ensure minority students have an equal opportunity to attend college, a good thing, has morphed into an obsession with ‘Diversity’, with millions upon millions being spent nationally on college Offices of Diversity and Inclusion. This, at a time when tuition is through the roof.
  • The hugely disproportionate Black crime rate and its victims, overwhelmingly Black, are ignored. Meanwhile, a relative few, though certainly tragic, incidents of possible police officer misjudgment or overreaction are turned into a nationwide indictment of the Law Enforcement community, the last line of defense for those victims.
  • Religion is not to be practiced or spoken of except in churches and behind closed doors. The exception is Islam, which Progressive politicians never miss a chance to praise. Those same politicians turn around and proclaim their support for Women’s Rights, which Islam most definitely denies.
  • Political Correctness is more pervasive than ever, with people losing their jobs, or being otherwise marginalized, for not saying or tweeting exactly the right thing in exactly the right tone.
  • At a time when record numbers of Americans have given up looking for a job, and Russia, China, and Iran are getting more and more imperialist, we’re preoccupied with making sure transgenders can use the restroom of their choice.

I could go on and so, I’m sure, could you. I realize that the origins of many of these items predate the last eight years of Democrat occupation of the White House. Many are not direct results of Government policy. But they all represent Progressive/Democrat initiatives and ideals and/or are enabled by them.  Do we really want to give these people four more years to take our country further downhill?
